ملف Hosts هو ملف كمبيوتر يُستخدم بواسطة نظام التشغيل لربط أسماء مضيفين بعناوين IP. يعد ملف hosts أحد مرافق النظام العديدة التي تساعد في تحديد عناوين عُقد الشبكة لشبكة كمبيوتر. وهو جزء شائع من تنفيذ IP لنظام تشغيل، ويؤدي وظيفة ترجمة أسماء مضيفين يمكن للبشر قراءتها إلى عناوين بروتوكولات رقمية، تسمى عناوين IP، تحديد مضيفًا في شبكة IP وتبحث عنه
